WE SUPPORT OUR LOCAL FARMER'S MARKET!

A man with a machete and a fresh coconut is truly a man after my heart.

Don't knock it 'til you try it.

And for my favoritist homemade coconut smoothie ever, try my very own creation.

a handful of fresh coconut
a handful of blueberries
2 large strawberries
1 banana
1/2 cup of skim milk
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of ice
1/2 cup of lowfat ice cream (no joke, this is the best)
1/2 a scoop of vanilla soy or whey protein (I prefer this)
1/4 cup of almonds
1/4 cup of uncooked rolled oats
a dollop of uncooked honey
a sprinkle of cinnamon

Throw it all in a blender until well mixed.

Hi there! My gf's and I went to New Buffalo, MI for a couple days. And we drove to the Round Barn winery that wasn't too far away. The area is abt 1.5 hrs away frm chicago. There are a bunch of wineries there. I hear Tabor Hill is good. =) Let me know if you have any other Qs.

Hi Kelly,
If someone would put a straw in a coconut for me, I would try it and probably like it! Looks good. Thanks for visiting my blog and I like your answer.

That looks like a good recipe, and I'm not even a huge fan of coconut! :) Thanks for visiting my blog. I read several of your posts today and many made me laugh and/or smile. Enjoy the day!

Cool and refreshing smoothie, aside from deliciously healthy, it is also packed with essential nutrients. My observation came from my reading on http://products.mercola.com/coconut-oil/
