Before + After Pictures: The Little Blue House: Master Bathroom
This teeny tiny master bathroom was a challenge, not only in size and budget, but time frame for completion.
By the time I was doing the work to that bathroom, I'd already rented Little Blue out, so I was in a crazy rush to finish the project. Had I lived there I would have done a few things differently; mainly, I would have put a french door where that window is and turned it into a cabana bathroom.
I didn't, Micah, but thank you! By the way, I've been seeing subway tiles all over the place, but your kitchen is one of the only other places that I've spotted the white on white (grout)! Looks great! I also did it here, too: http://tearinguphouses.blogspot.com/2009/09/before-after-pictures-little-blue-house.html
In the eighties, I was a little kid who put together model buildings out of notebook paper and Scotch tape and spent days on end playing Monopoly with my best friend. What I've done over the last decade is pretty much the same thing. I began buying, renovating, and renting dozens of properties during Architecture school, where I mostly learned how to stay awake for six days straight.
Today I'm a new mother married with four dogs and way too many houses along the coasts of Florida. We recently moved into and began working on a three story lake house built in 1928.

Love your before and after photos. Great Job.
Thank you both.
I love the subway tiles! Did you do the tiling yourself? It looks great!
