Before + Progress is an ongoing series keeping you up to date on whatever project is currently occupying our time. There is still lots to be done at this point to make the Progress photos actually qualify for the coveted After stage.

No door is ever safe from my wrath. Revel in the fact that you weren't in my paint splattering path last night.
(Before you email me about why I didn't take that door off of the hinges to properly paint it, let me remind you that we will be replacing it soon, anyway.)
We're moving at a snail's pace in this room, I know. I've been distracted.
Besides, what you can't tell from the photos is the (seriously) incredible job that The Redhead has done on the ceiling which took a bit more time than expected. Initially, we didn't think that we'd need to scrape it, since the texture was very light in this room.
But, thanks to Andrew's growing OCD sanding tendancies and our desire to be able to walk barefoot on our ceiling with comfort, that bad boy is now smoother than a baby's bumbum.
Yes, I'm a lucky girl.
