when: yesterday afternoon where: running on a path along the Saint John's river what: Lego-like newspaper bins shot with my phone while looking over the side that wasn't the water
I'm so glad you explained...it probably would've taken me awhile. My sister lives near the St. John and I have to say, I LOVE the area. It's so beautiful (and WARM)!! I bet you were NOT running in long johns and wicking wool socks. Lucky duck. Thanks for the pic! It's such a cool perspective!
Y'know...now that you mention it...they live in St. Johns, which I think is a new area that just broke off and got its own zip code. My GPS doesn't even recognize it. But when I'm there, we don't go to St. Johns River, we go to the beach. So I assumed she was closer to the beach. But I THINK she's still teaching in Duval County. Would that make sense? My BIL is head of marketing for the Jags so they moved from Scotland for him to take that job. But sis grew up in FL so she's happier than pigs in...well y'know. They used to live near Mandarin, though. All I know is it used to take 20 mins to get to Target and now it takes 10. ;-)
Hmm...I'm not sure but I'll ask her. She references everything by shopping, too! She's so much closer to Michael's and Hobby Lobby and Target that she could just scream. I think there's an outlet mall that she's fairly close to. But then there was one in St. Augustine, too. Truthfully, I LOVE St. Augustine...well I guess more specifically the Flagler College campus. There's a Mexican restaurant down there with the best best margaritas I've ever had!
In the eighties, I was a little kid who put together model buildings out of notebook paper and Scotch tape and spent days on end playing Monopoly with my best friend. What I've done over the last decade is pretty much the same thing. I began buying, renovating, and renting dozens of properties during Architecture school, where I mostly learned how to stay awake for six days straight.
Today I'm a new mother married with four dogs and way too many houses along the coasts of Florida. We recently moved into and began working on a three story lake house built in 1928.

Yes, it looks like lego! Wonderful photos, I love it when people have an eye to see the beauty in the ordinary. Janell

It's sort of Tetris, no Janell? I can't get the image out of my head. Something about it is full of intrigue to me.
Allyson, thanks! And what a small world! Where does your sister live? We're in San Marco.

Is that fantastic outdoor mall located in Saint John's? I still don't know my way around, so I reference everything by shopping. Teehee.
