when: Friday
where: Frank Gehry's Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millenium Park
what: the experience would have been so much better without that little white shed bothering me

Eugene has a pretty nifty federal courthouse. It's interesting on the outside (though some locals call it the Tuna Can) http://www.glumac.com/images/newsletter/Wayne_L._Morse_Courthouse_large.jpg

And gorgeous on the inside: http://www.architectmagazine.com/Images/0809%20Courthouse%20Eugene%20stair_tcm20-189325.jpg

BUT...
On the western facade, there is a small window. It really bugs me. And, as I recently discovered at a gettogether, it offends a lot of people.

Maybe we're all nuts.

The thing is, too, the shot that I took is a pretty popularly photographed view of the structure. WHY would they put something so insignificant there without more thought?
