This Is Love: J. Crew Fall

This Is Love is an ongoing series showcasing products or services we dig. Don't worry, we're not being bribed to expose any of these; it's just stuff we're truly crazy about. If you have something you love that you'd like to share, please email me at kellymuys@yahoo.com.

J. Crew's fall collection, inspired by "Little" Edith Beale (who I vacillate between being fascinated by and annoyed with), is all about dark shades of tights, undisciplined braids, and sort of a vintage chic meets tomboy thing going on.

I'm pretty much in love with it all. Thoughts?

Love the collection. Did you see Gray Gardens on HBO? It is the most depressing movie I have ever seen. It left me with an icky feeling for days.

I used to think them so grandma-y, but for some reason, I am totally in love with the embellished cardigans. I actually want to go find vintage pins and broaches and also embroider felt onto some of mine. Is "grandma" the new "vintage"?
