This is a photograph I took when we were driving to Gainesville. We were on our way to show a couple a townhouse we're renting that I bought a couple of years ago while I was still living in Fort Lauderdale. Yesterday was the first time that I'd driven there from Jacksonville, and the trek was a completely different experience than the route that I usually take from South Florida.
It was riddled with flea markets and horse farms and fruit stands.
This is my favorite picture, a strawberry shack parked underneath of a mammoth green Lawtey Correctional Institution sign.
Like I always say, location is everything.

We used to drive South from Jax for a weekend, somewhere along the coast .. or towards Orlando.
Mostly on those highways, I counted cars with Canada license plates lol the scenery got pretty boring.
I like your scenery better :) Did you stop and buy berries? lol
