So I'm thinking of relocating the The Living Room's Shaw Wooly Bully Area Rug to The New Master Bedroom instead of purchasing my original choice for The Master, Anthropologie's Modern Heraldry Rug, which I adore enough to marry.
Why?
Because after looking over the pictures I think that replacing the Wooly Bully with a larger version would better define the space.

Plus, that bad boy is so soft that it seriously feels like your feet are swimming in sheep. AND WHO DOESN'T WANT TO WAKE UP TO SHEEP UNDER THEIR TOES?
Andrew thinks a larger rug in The Living Area will cover too much of the hardwood floors.
Your thoughts?

I understand Andrew's concern. However, I think the larger rug will anchor the tv/relaxing part of the multi-purpose room. Plus, if you buy the rug and hate it, just return it right away. :)
I think a bigger rug in the living room would look great. :)
Yes, I think you need a bigger rug. And since you already have the perfect spot to move this one to...I think it's a good idea.
Usually, I can never afford the bigger rug. That is why the rug in my living room is a little small for the space.
Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I wonder if I'll be making a mistake by forgoing the Anthro Rug, though? It makes such a statement. That said, over half of it WOULD be covered by our bed, so...
I say go bigger in the living room. You don't need to see a lot of wood floor to appreciate it.
That's kind of what I was thinking, Kristi.
I totally agree and something with some warm color would work for me.
See, that's the other thing, Abroad. Half of me wants to go with something with a small pattern with rich earth tones, half of me wants to get another Wooly Bully in a larger size. Can't decide.
Bigger Rug... Love the anthropoligie rug too, it's fabulous!
No, you need a bigger rug. And now I'm obsessed with what swimming in sheep would feel like. Thanks a lot, Kelly.
I agree - a bigger rug would look great in there.
And we purchased the same rug for our own Master Bedroom remodel --
and I think "swimming in sheep" is an apt description. I seriously love that rug!
