NOT a reason to fist pump?
Jersey Shore relocating to our backyard. (However, that too, is a completely legitimate reason to throw up in your mouth.)

Kelly's Florida Style Grilled Chicken Sandwich
That I Guess We'll Share With The Fist Pumpers
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, halved
teriyaki sauce (I like Kikkoman Low Sodium Teriyaki Sauce)
2 slices of Swiss cheese (I like Sargento Deli Style Sliced Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese)
2 slices of fresh pineapple
2 whole wheat rolls (I like Nature's Own Whole Wheat Sandwich Rolls)
a few slices of red onion
a few slices of fresh jalapeno
tortilla chips (I like Tostitos Restaurant Style With A Hint Of Lime Tortilla Chips)
Combine chicken and teriyaki sauce in a Ziploc and marinate.
Heat a grill. You can tell that it's ready when it's hot enough to set your hair on fire. But it's best not to test it that way. Probably.
Chuck that baby on the heat.
After five minutes or so flip and add the cheese. When the cheese is melted and the chicken is lightly charred and firm, remove from the heat and set aside.
Toast the rolls and pineapple slices lightly, a couple of minutes on each side. Top the chicken sandwiches with pineapple, onion, jalapeno, and a drizzling of teriyaki sauce.
Admire your work and pat yourself on the back for not burning the place down. You may also elect to throw a fist pump or two.
Serve within a few minutes with tortilla chips. Makes two servings.

YUMSTERS!!! I LOVE fresh pineapple and really love it on grilled chicken. But for some reason, I never think to pick it up at the store. This is a whole new reason to buy pineapple (and a whole new reason to fist pump. Is woofing out of style yet?)
ok, the pineapples take this to a whole new level, great idea for summer! and the tortilla chips with lime? love them! i usually go through the bag picking out the ones with the most seasoning to eat first, don't tell...
Looks amazing, and I totally understand where you are coming from!
Yum. That looks delicious. Maybe we'll make this on vacation next week.
I'm in VA and was sadly disspointed to find that they'll be in[vading] FL!! On the rare occasion the TV landed on The Jersey Shore, my husband & I spend most of it staring at each other in horror over how bad it is and why we can't seem to change channels. Figured it out: it's like rubbernecking at a bad car accident, a total disaster you should turn away from, but can't seem to do it....
I can honestly say it was the best grilled chicken sandwich I've ever made, Allyson. Totally worth an extra trip to the grocery store!
Lauren, Jalapeno Kettle Chips would probably be really good with it, too.
So you know how LOL has become a thoughtless response to just about anything? Well, I use it rarely and I don't use it lightly but I just laughed out loud, literally, after reading that first sentence.
LOL,
Kathleen
that sounds really good and i usually don't dig pineapple with meat-i'll give it a try! i have never thought about throwing something up because it's so good, but that's a good one!!hilarious.
That sounds like a rock star recipe! I will be tryin! I grill chicken breast A LOT... one thing I that always do is to place the breasts in a zip lock and pound the meat out to about a half of an inch or so before I put the meat in a marinade... I think it might increase the absorbtion of flavors and it helps to ensure that the breasts are evenly cooked.
