Before + Progress Pictures: The Historic House By The Water: Kitchen, Part 10

Yoo-hoo. You can see more Before + Progress posts over this-a-way.

Lots of work has been done recently.

I promised myself that I wasn't going to show you all of the yumminess that has gone down this week, because seeing the new travertine floors and extra french panel door and floated walls and exposed pine beams would ruin all of the After shots in our not so distant future.

It's a good thing I lied.

My next house is going to have a travertine kitchen. I decided approximately two days after not putting travertine in my current kitchen. Great decision making skills I've got.

Looking so great!! Can't wait to see the not-so-distant-future afters!

You had a cowboy working on your kitchen?!?! I'm so totally jealous now! And I want to listen to Big n' Rich for some weird reason...

It's looking good, I can definitely see your vision now.

Yeah, the Cowboy Contractor is kinda cracking me up. If anyone wasn't sure where you lived, they'd be able to garner that it's the South.

I like the faux beams. Nice touch!

Cindy, I'm really happy with how it looks. I'm crossing my fingers that the dogs don't attack it before we get a chance to seal it, though.

Sunny, thank you! And I will pass your comment on to Cowboy Contractor. Ditto for Chacha.

the beams are beaming! Ok, that was uncalled for, but they are pretty snazzy. I can't wait to see the final reveal.

It is definitely starting to come together... I cannot wait to see the final product! The pine beams are the icing on the cake... And I didn't even notice anything dofferent about the contractor... In Texas, all contractors are cowboys. Eat your heart out, Sunny!

Dude. That looks like the most fun ever. Maybe I'll rip out a wall today just for kicks. I wonder if I can do it without waking up the hubby...
