SURPRISE, The Rest Of The World Is Cold

I don't think I have ever been so excited about Patagonia.

When we return from Juneau there's Vancouver then Seattle then Killington then Dubrovnik then Zaton then Rome then Venice then Montego Bay. So we'll at least have five and half minutes of sun.

Why am I just now revealing our super secret travel plans?

Someone pried a Christmas present out of me early.

Yay for travel! I'm still trying to figure out where I want to go next. Maybe I'll just follow your footsteps around the globe. ;)

i guess that is fair seeing as you got your fancypants camera early, right? travel is a brilliant gift because you both get to enjoy it. i would like to request pictures of you with those eskimos please, taken with your new camera. also, the only place i have been in that list in vermont- manfriends fam is from there. lots of maple syrup and cheese (the fam is in cabot. like the cheese). actually. to be honest, i have to google a few of those places to see where they are. geography- not to much a strength of mine...

Denise, I would love any advice you have to offer. We're totally open, and neither of us have ever been there. Please, please, please, email me some tips when you have a moment! Thank you!!!

Kathleen, I'm pretty excited. I might even sneak in a few more weekend trips when Andrew isn't paying attention. 2011: The Year Of Travel.

Kelly, we lived in Seattle, and are now living in Naples, which is just a couple hours from Rome :) Any questions, especially about Italian travel etc, feel free to ask! Have fun :)

Linda, I have TONS of questions! First, do you know how long ferry between Zaton and the Italian coast is?

Pack the warm sweaters :o) All of them. None of these places are going to be warm this time of the year, but nevertheless oh so much fun !

Have a safe trip!

TAKE ME WITH YOU TO JAMAICA!

A Little Old House, we're not taking all of the trips now. They're broken up between January and July so that we can catch the best weather each place.

Chelsea, you fit in a carry on, right?

Enjoy! Though I've lived through enough Alaskan winters to have no desire to return, yet. The warm spots...sign me up!

Ah yes, Rome. Memories of gelato, pizza, gelato, pizza, gelato, pizza, and gelato. And pizza.

KellyMellyBoBellyBananaFanna said...

I can deal with that, Elisa!

Kelly, I know Zadar to Ancona is just about 9-10 hours for the ferry. Dubrovnik to Bari is about 7-8 hours. Not sure where Zaton is?? I'd imagine it would be fairly similar, though. Hope that helps...

Yes, of course I fit in carry-on... I actually have a side-gig as a Chinese acrobat, you'd be amazed at the ways I can fold myself up

Oh, okay. SO much makes sense now, Chelsea.

Rome and Venice = Awesome. You should try to hit up Victoria BC while you're in Seattle too. Have a great time : )
