World Tour: Part 1, Day 1

We're in Atlanta. In an airport. Listening to a cowboy trying to sell legal insurance like a used car salesman.

This is an adventure!

p.s. No word on the house. We spent the last forty eight hours on the phone with lenders, scrubbing and showing every inch of our house, writing offers, doing taxes, rewriting offers, packing, pacing the floor, repacking and then repacking again. And then pacing the floor some more. There has been no sleeping.

p.p.s. I left my camera cord in Florida. BECAUSE THERE HAS BEEN NO SLEEPING.

p.p.s. We're going to try and buy a new one on the way from LaGuardia to Newark. It's the cord that downloads the photos from a Nikon onto a laptop. If you happen to know where I can get one in that area, please email me or comment!

Not sure if your laptop has this, but with mine, I have an SD card reader (tiny little slot about 1.25" wide near my touchpad). I just pop out the little SD card from my camera and then use card reader to download the pics.

Kelly you should be able to just pop your SD card into the SD slot on your laptop and your photos should upload!

Kelly! I was going to suggest the card reader as well. After forgetting my cord on multiple trips, I finally figured that one out. Doh!

Have a great time!!

If your laptop doesn't have an SD slot you can buy a stand alone SD card reader that plugs in using USB connector. Might be easier to find than the correct cord for your camera.

For us it transfers the pictures much faster than if we plug our Canon into the computer. And it doesn't drain the camera battery.

Have a great time.
