Lately, things have been moving fast. So fast. To be honest, it's all kind of blurry fast.
Right now we're leaving for Los Angeles for the second part of this year's fantasy travels, and with all that's been going on it's pretty unlikely that I'll get my act together and finish posting about Part 1. Which means no faceplant photos anytime soon. DARN. I'm sure you're as crushed as I am.
Anyway (even with our impending homelessness) we're uber psyched about our latest adventures which include Los Angeles and Juneau and Vancouver and Seattle and a couple of other cities that I have no idea how to pronounce. Or spell. Or find on a world map in less than twenty seven minutes. Thank goodness for all of your fantabulous recommendations on where to stay, what to eat, and things to see. Edgewater especially, Grace, which was booked, though we managed to squeeze a water view in at the Marriott next door. From what we saw on the websites, we're keeping our fingers crossed that it's even half the treat!

If you make it down to San Diego hit me up!
And would y'all just produce some offspring already??? You're too cute not to pop out some little love-trophy look-a-likes.
Not sure if you are planning to hit Vancouver Island... but if you are Tofino and Ucluelet are a must!
Liz, one of these days! I am dying to check out San Diego's zoo.
And we will think on that love trophy for you. :)
Oh man, you're going to love it out there. Hope you can turn off your brain and enjoy the fantasy tour. Just keep the pictures and stories coming! : )
Have fun! Can't wait to hear of your adventures (not to be confused with misadventures this time, hopefully)! May all the places you stay this time be worthy.
OMG, Kelly! You're coming to visit us!!! Welcome to LA! :)
Definitely check out some non-touristy things. Go to the Farmer's Market at 3rd and Fairfax, grab some crepes or awesome mexican food. Then walk the streets just east of there and check out the gorgeous 1930s spanish style architecture (and weep at the prices. hehe) Walk west on 3rd street for some super cute boutiques. Beverly has a ton of interior design shops.
And you must eat somewhere fabulous! :) My fave is the market fresh food at Cube on La Brea just south of Melrose. Or get some great sushi! Hirozen or Sushi Time on Beverly have super fresh fish!
Have fun!!
Great recommendations! The salmon on the West Coast is FANTASTIC!
