Where We're Headed

Andrew asked, "The question is, do you love it?"

I said, "Yes, but..."

"But do you love it?"

Of course I love it. It's just. Why would I do that to myself right now?

He said, "Why not?"

So we did.

That house has fabulous potential--love the servant stairs in the kitchen. I say keep the phone niche, it adds character. You will have fun gutting the kitchen, yes?

Oh goody ! I know where it is , when I get there to visit the baby girl, I will come calling :)
I love it. I love the style, the yard, the fencing and gate and that you are still right there in San Marco.
Go to Bistro Aix and have a dessert in my name, in your honor :D
Congratulations ... when do you move ?
Do the dogs like it or have you told them yet ?
besos, C

That sunroom is GORGEOUS already; I can't wait to see what the home looks like when the wallpaper is gone.

Can someone please reprimand the agent who wrote "beautyful?"

Looks like a great house with a lot of architectural character! Dormers, arched windows, back stairs... geez, if it had pocket doors I would sell my soul for it. I can't wait to see what you do to modernize it. Just be careful with that bump!

Any house with back stairs is awesome. I love the idea of two different ways (one kind of hidden) to the upstairs. Granted it probably dates back to the whole "servants" route being hidden, but I mostly associate it with old-house-charm.

thanks, nita. can't wait to get my hands on it.

leslie, the owners lived there for thirty years and did a great job maintaining it. will make things much easier for me.

thanks, holyoke!

sara, me too...

deb, that comment is just what i needed to hear!

OMG - Awesome! Thank god the stagers ripped down the wallpaper for you! Maybe I'll stop in some time :)

It's beautiful but where I live for $675k the chandelier should not only convey, but grant sexual favors and foot massages.

Enjoy your new home!
